For sale is a vintage, very early, Gucci, black silk, snap top, deco style clam shell top handle cross body, shoulder bag, or clutch style purse with a unique, black enamel and rhinestone closure and longer strap! This unique purse from Gucci is perfect for when you just need the essentials or want a dressier purse for special occasions!
The bag is made of black silk with a black enamel accent rhinestone clasp at the hinged closure! I believe this style is a very early Gucci from the 1940's to the early 1960's based on the style and material. It has a longer strap at the center can be collapsed into it and is a unique, Art Deco clamshell shape, pouch two-way style.
The interior is very clean! It is lined in black silk and there is one compartment with a pocket. Under the pocket, there is a silver plaque engraved with 'Gucci, Made in Italy' on one side and embossed is the serial #005 398 0113.
